For quite a long time my vacations are only dedicated to Lithuania. Every time I have a chance I am going home to visit my beloved ones. Besides, I pretty sure it is going to be like that in the future as well, but this time was a little bit different.
This year instead of spending all our summer vacation in Lithuania we decided on a way there to make a longer stop and visit another country. Our choice was Italy- Milan. Actually we did not had so many options to choose from, but Milan sounded like a great idea. Even thow we had only two nights there it was enough to fall in love with the city: friendly and relaxed people, stunning arhitecture, good music and tasty vine. Unfortunately we did not had a good experience trying amazing italian pizzas. Probably we should have checked for some nice placed on Tripadvisor, but oh well..
For a few days even noisy and crowded city center seemed charming. Not sure how it feels all the time living there surrounded by so many people. However, central Milan park (Parco Sempione) seemed like a perfect place to rest in a shadow on a hot day. I really love parks and this one amazed me. For a minute we even felt like locals while sitting on the bench, chatting and enjoying our afternoon with gelato in a hand.
Those few days inspired and left really colorful memories in our hearts. Definitely going back there one day !
