Well Ladies and Gentlemen, fall is officially in the air in the Algarve as well… You should have seen the look on my face today in the morning when I saw the thermometer. It marked +8 degrees! I know how it should sound for my lithuanian readers, you might think that I am crazy .hah. However, +8 degrees is almost the coldest temperature I have experienced in the south of Portugal since I moved here. Believe me, the cold is completely different when you live near the ocean. And even +15 degrees during the day is “cold” for local people. In this case you can count me as one.
These photos were taken on a windy Saturday afternoon by the beach. Completely casual and not really photogenic outfit, but as weather was so beautiful I seized the opportunity. That day temperature rised up to +20 degrees, but as you can see I´m with sweater and jacket. Beautiful, but really tricky weather though. Some people find it warm enough for shorts and tees, and the others choose to wear jackets and winter boots. Easy to guess who´s tourist and who’s local. hah.
Next year I am thinking to prepare some posts about Portugal. As I live here for quite a while already I feel like I have a lot to tell, from nature to lifestyle. Let me know what you would like to hear! (PM)
P.S Gosh, I just can’t stop talking about the weather!
